OUR APPROACH

Surface

The canvas of your face is your skin. As we age—collagen and elastin decrease over time and ability to maintain moisture and promote cell turnover continue to diminish. We treat the variables of the skin; dryness, oiliness, acne, wrinkles, pigment, texture, with a wide array of options including non-pharmacologic and pharmacologic interventions; skin care & consistency, microneedling, RF & peels.

Shape

Contours illustrate how light and shadows are reflected on your face. With the natural aging process, volume is lost over time which creates hollows, and deepens wrinkles and folds. We use dermal fillers and bio-stimulants to replace that volume loss immediately or over a period to help age gracefully.

Structure

Bones are the foundation of your face. Again with the natural aging process, bone loss occurs and ligament support changes, resulting in sagging and descent of facial anatomy. This can be treated with dermal fillers and biostimulants to mitigate the aging process.

ABOUT JENILYN

I’m Jenilyn, founder of Sitka Aesthetics. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. I am a nurse practitioner specializing in anesthesia and have been an aesthetic injector for over 5 years.

After working at a cancer center in Manhattan and a trauma center in Seattle, my husband, & dog— Ellie, decided to settle down and start a family. Settling, in Sitka, proved ideal. Our daughter and now son were born here and raising our children here has been a joy, despite challenges to access to services “down south” where we end up paying a premium with time and money. Look no further, Sitka Aesthetic brings innovative, up to date treatments our remote communities. With nearly 15 years of medical experience, I'm delighted to have run Sitka Aesthetics for over 4 years now—focusing on beauty, wellness, supporting people in feeling their best.

As my business has evolved so have my goals for not only myself, but my clients. In a world filled with beauty trends and treatments, it is crucial to have a reliable source of information.
